Eliana Valentini illustrator and painter based in Ireland will guide you through a basic Watercolour and basic drawing (pencil or pen on ordinary paper) workshop to explore an immediate technique to respond to impulses, emotions and visions that we can experience during a poetry live performance.
You will gain expressive skills suitable for capturing special moments in your life or other art performances like dance, theatre, nature and more…
Who can join this workshop?
This workshop is structured for adults but is suitable for children with their parents and families. Beginners welcome, no previous experience is required. Watercolours enthusiast, artists or whoever is curious to explore art improvisation and experience something new.
Do I need artistic material to join this workshop?
– Accessible art set for everybody (easily available at home):
– Ordinary pencil (graphite or coloured pencils)
– Ordinary pen or markers
– Ordinary note paper or sketchbook

Live painting and poetry performance
All visual artists are invited to participate to our poetry and drawing live session performance. Few poetry writers and poetry performers will create an inspiring atmosphere of words, sounds, emotions, details…letting them transport all visual artists in a world of colours, signs, sketches, strokes, impulses to capture in that specific special performing time the sensitive veils of the poet’s soul. All visual artist welcome, any technique any level of experience.
Final sharing of the artworks will give the visual impact of the poetry performance, from an individual perspective and a collective perspective capturing on paper an unforgettable experience.
